As the founder and driving force behind VS Landscape Group, Seth van Stralen brings vision, leadership, and years of industry expertise to every corner of the business. From strategic planning to hands-on oversight, Seth has built the company from the ground up with a focus on professionalism, accountability, and high-quality service.
His deep understanding of commercial property maintenance, snow removal, and landscape construction allows him to lead with both precision and purpose. Seth’s commitment to growth and excellence continues to shape VS Landscape Group into one of Ottawa’s most trusted landscape and snow contractors.
With 20 years in the landscaping industry, Brent brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to all aspects of the business. Having an exceptional eye for detail and workplace efficiencies, he keeps crews and company operations on track stretching across Eastern Ontario.
His customer-focused approach has proven itself time and again, leaving clients feeling listened to and well taken care of.
Jerome leads Business Development at VS Landscape Group, combining strategic thinking with hands-on industry knowledge. He focuses on growing the brand through relationship-building, targeted outreach, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. With a background in marketing and sales, Jerome is passionate about creating long-term value for clients and partners. His creativity and positive mindset drive helps us succeed in turning opportunities into results.
Sander joined the Business Development team at VS Landscape Group in early 2025 and has quickly become a valued part of our growth strategy. With a natural curiosity and drive to learn, he’s hit the ground running—earning the trust of clients through his approachable style, professionalism, and that unmistakable Norwegian accent everyone seems to love.
Sander focuses on building strong client relationships and supporting new opportunities in commercial snow removal, and grounds maintenance. His friendly demeanor, quick grasp of industry needs, and commitment to service make him a rising asset to the team.
As a Supervisor at VS Landscape Group, Matt plays a key role in ensuring our winter operations run smoothly—and our clients notice. Known for his attention to detail and steady leadership, Matt is one of our most requested team members, thanks to the exceptional care he takes with every site he manages.
With Industrial Pesticide training and a strong background in both snow and grounds maintenance, Matt brings skill, reliability, and a friendly attitude to every project. Whether he’s coordinating crews during a snowstorm or checking in with clients, Matt leads by example and always gets the job done right.
As the Landscaping Division Manager at VS Landscape Group, Seamus brings deep passion and hands-on experience to every project. From a young age, he worked alongside his father, learning the craft of landscape construction and developing a strong foundation in the field.
Seamus has a sharp eye for detail and a talent for transforming ordinary spaces into stunning outdoor environments. His years of experience and leadership make him a key part of our team — ensuring that every project is built with quality, creativity, and care.
Every team needs someone who knows exactly what is going on at any given time and keeps everything meticulously organized. Celine is that person – the office guru who holds it all together.

Reuben is a hardworking and dependable member of the VS Landscape Group crew, currently working toward his Horticulture Certification. A proud family man, Reuben brings both dedication and heart to everything he does—whether he’s helping shape new landscapes or keeping properties safe during the winter months.
With a calm, focused presence and a drive to learn, Reuben is steadily growing his skills in the field. His positive attitude and commitment to quality make him a valued part of the team and a pleasure to work with.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Ben Lee brings energy and a genuine passion for the industry to VS Landscape Group. Currently working toward his Horticulture degree, Ben is eager to apply what he’s learning in the classroom to real-world projects—whether it’s installing landscapes or supporting snow removal operations.
